This is an open access book. Indonesia, as a member of ASEAN, is now facing the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) 2016. The AEC will support the ASEAN's transformation into a region that guarantees free movement of goods, services, capital, and skilled labors. This will make ASEAN an even more dynamic and competitive region. In preparation for the AEC, the ASEAN member countries have ventured to improve the comparability and connectivity of their TVET systems. As an important component of human resources development, TVET is expected to play an active role in preparing the successful EAC. The implications of technological, economic and social trends are intervening factors that refine pedagogical strategies, leading to the molding of TVET as a more effective platform to catalyze pragmatic approaches to prepare the workforce for the new imperatives of the world of work.
Regional integration and harmonization of TVET in the region have become key concerns and at the sametime the strength of the ASEAN region. They are considered the overarching interventions needed in TVET to address major issues and challenges.

Communities worldwide have transitioned their activities to virtual realms, necessitating adaptability to the digital milieu across diverse sectors encompassing commerce, industry, governance, and education. This transition is marked by an increasing reliance on the digital domain, internet infrastructure, and intelligent computing systems, including artificial intelligence, which Bill Gates heralds as commensurate in impact to the advents of mobile telephony and the internet ("The Age of AI has Begun," 2023).
The digital transformation denotes a comprehensive process wherein organizations integrate digital technology across all facets of operation, thus altering the manner in which value is delivered to Indonesian-speaking constituencies. In the Indonesian context, this entails the fundamental adoption of innovative digital technologies to effect cultural and operational shifts that harmonize with evolving demands, habits, and exigencies of the Indonesian-speaking populace. Significantly, this encompasses an expansive online Indonesian dictionary, the integration of information technology and the internet in the pedagogical sphere of teaching Indonesian Language and Literature, and the infusion of artificial intelligence into the educational process for Indonesian as a Second Language (BIPA). Additionally, the repository of books and reference materials in Indonesian will be transitioned to a cloud-based mode, facilitating universal accessibility. In summation, the Internet of Things (IoT) precipitates a discernible transformation in the modes of access and utilization of the Indonesian language, particularly within the domain of scientific inquiry.
From the foregoing elucidation, it is underscored that Indonesian, as the official language of the Indonesian state, assumes a pivotal and strategic role in fortifying the national identity and safeguarding the enduring vitality of the language itself. In light of this, the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program (PBSI) within the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at the University of Islam Malang will convene the third iteration of the International Conference on Language, Literature, and Cultural Education (ICON-LLCE) in September 2023, under the overarching theme of "Augmenting the Role of Indonesian for the Advancement of Science and Global Civilization. This international conference, which has been ongoing since 2015, succeeds the second edition convened in November 2021. Through this imminent iteration of ICON-LLCE, distinguished scholars and academics representing various global locales will convene to engage in thoughtful deliberations pertaining to initiatives aimed at safeguarding and fortifying the enduring pertinence and robustness of the Indonesian language within the ambit of forthcoming intellectual pursuits and the broader global cultural discourse.

It offers a new approach to this type of problems. We derive the fundamental solution of the steady case and we give pointwise estimates of velocity and its gradient (first and second one). Each chapter is preceded by a thorough discussion of the investigated problems, along with their motivation and the strategy used to solve them.The book will be useful to researchers and graduate students in mathematics, in particular mathematical fluid mechanics and differential equations.
Thurston maps are topological generalizations of postcritically-finite rational maps. This book provides a comprehensive study of ergodic theory of expanding Thurston maps, focusing on the measure of maximal entropy, as well as a more general class of invariant measures, called equilibrium states, and certain weak expansion properties of such maps. In particular, we present equidistribution results for iterated preimages and periodic points with respect to the unique measure of maximal entropy by investigating the number and locations of fixed points. We then use the thermodynamical formalism to establish the existence, uniqueness, and various other properties of the equilibrium state for a Holder continuous potential on the sphere equipped with a visual metric. After studying some weak expansion properties of such maps, we obtain certain large deviation principles for iterated preimages and periodic points under an additional assumption on the critical orbits of the maps. This enablesus to obtain general equidistribution results for such points with respect to the equilibrium states under the same assumption.

Mean field approximation has been adopted to describe macroscopic phenomena from microscopic overviews. It is still in progress; fluid mechanics, gauge theory, plasma physics, quantum chemistry, mathematical oncology, non-equilibirum thermodynamics. spite of such a wide range of scientific areas that are concerned with the mean field theory, a unified study of its mathematical structure has not been discussed explicitly in the open literature. The benefit of this point of view on nonlinear problems should have significant impact on future research, as will be seen from the underlying features of self-assembly or bottom-up self-organization which is to be illustrated in a unified way. The aim of this book is to formulate the variational and hierarchical aspects of the equations that arise in the mean field theory from macroscopic profiles to microscopic principles, from dynamics to equilibrium, and from biological models to models that arise from chemistry and physics.
The second volume of the two volumes book is dedicated to various extensions and generalizations of Dyadic (Walsh) analysis and related applications. Considered are dyadic derivatives on Vilenkin groups and various other Abelian and finite non-Abelian groups. Since some important results were developed in former Soviet Union and China, we provide overviews of former work in these countries. Further, we present translations of three papers that were initially published in Chinese. The presentation continues with chapters written by experts in the area presenting discussions of applications of these results in specific tasks in the area of signal processing and system theory.
Efficient computing of related differential operators on contemporary hardware, including graphics processing units, is also considered, which makes the methods and techniques of dyadic analysis and generalizations computationally feasible.

Dyadic (Walsh) analysis emerged as a new research area in applied mathematics and engineering in early seventies within attempts to provide answers to demands from practice related to application of spectral analysis of different classes of signals, including audio, video, sonar, and radar signals. In the meantime, it evolved in a mature mathematical discipline with fundamental results and important features providing basis for various applications. The book will provide fundamentals of the area through reprinting carefully selected earlier publications followed by overview of recent results concerning particular subjects in the area written by experts, most of them being founders of the field, and some of their followers. In this way, this first volume of the two volume book offers a rather complete coverage of the development of dyadic Walsh analysis, and provides a deep insight into its mathematical foundations necessary for consideration of generalizations and applications that are the subject of the second volume. The presented theory is quite sufficient to be a basis for further research in the subject area as well as to be applied in solving certain new problems or improving existing solutions for tasks in the areas which motivated development of the dyadic analysis.
The idea of mutual classification of spaces and mappings is one of the main research directions of point set topology. This book offers the reader a new approach to the solvability of boundary value problems with state-dependent impulses and provides recently obtained existence results for state dependent impulsive problems with general linear boundary conditions. It covers fixed-time impulsive boundary value problems both regular and singular and deals with higher order differential equations or with systems that are subject to general linear boundary conditions. We treat state-dependent impulsive boundary value problems, including a new approach giving effective conditions for the solvability of the Dirichlet problem with one state-dependent impulse condition and we show that the depicted approach can be extended to problems with a finite number of state-dependent impulses. We investigate the Sturm-Liouville boundary value problem for a more general right-hand side of a differential equation. Finally, we offer generalizations to higher order differential equations or differential systems subject to general linear boundary conditions.
This monograph covers the existing results regarding Green's functions for differential equations with involutions (DEI).The first part of the book is devoted to the study of the most useful aspects of involutions from an analytical point of view and the associated algebras of differential operators.
The work combines the state of the art regarding the existence and uniqueness results for DEI and new theorems describing how to obtain Green's functions, proving that the theory can be extended to operators (not necessarily involutions) of a similar nature, such as the Hilbert transform or projections, due to their analogous algebraic properties.
Obtaining a Green's function for these operators leads to new results on the qualitative properties of the solutions, in particular maximum and antimaximum principles.

Recent advances in ICT have given rise to new socially disruptive technologies: AmI and the IoT, marking a major technological change which may lead to a drastic transformation of the technological ecosystem in all its complexity, as well as to a major alteration in technology use and thus daily living. Yet no work has systematically explored AmI and the IoT as advances in science and technology (S&T) and sociotechnical visions in light of their nature, underpinning, and practices along with their implications for individual and social wellbeing and for environmental health. AmI and the IoT raise new sets of questions: In what way can we conceptualize such technologies? How can we evaluate their benefits and risks? How should science-based technology and society's politics relate? Are science-based technology and society converging in new ways? It is with such questions that this book is concerned. Positioned within the research field of Science and Technology Studies (STS), which encourages analyses whose approaches are drawn from a variety of disciplinary perspectives, this book amalgamates an investigation of AmI and the IoT technologies based on a unique approach to cross-disciplinary integration; their ethical, social, cultural, political, and environmental effects; and a philosophical analysis and evaluation of the implications of such effects.
